Progress Report

Originally I had planned on creating a Frogger game. My game had all the basic components of Frogger. The Frog had to go from Point B to Point A by avoiding objects. I was having some difficulty with the coding so I went to openprocessing.org to get help. It was then I noticed that there were a lot of different versions of Frogger already created. Most of the games were way more visually appealing than mine. Since I wanted to make a game that mirrored a toy, I decided that excellent visuals were a must. I scratched the Frogger idea. I wanted to focus on displaying a toy frog on the screen.

When I was on Open Processing.org I came across user “Yeh(Tara) Ting” Frog Game. It’s a story telling game. “Froggy is going to the farm to visit some of his friends! Please help him choose the correct paths!” The User Input is the mouse. If the mouse is dragged left, the frog hops left. If the mouse is dragged right, the frog hops right. I like the way the frog visually interacted with the mouse. I decided to use that same frog to interact with my toy frog

Every aspect of my interactive frog, even the background ,comes from “Yeh(Tara) Ting”. I configured the sketch to respond to the arrow keys on the key board.
